A family-run passion for exceptional coffee in the heart of Maldon
Welcome to Maldon Coffee Co
Our story began 5 years ago on a coffee stall at Chelmsford farmers market, here we grew from a tiny pitch selling just a small amount of beans to one of the largest stalls with seating for 30 selling over 65 different plain and flavoured beans as well as serving hot coffee and milkshakes, we further expanded with a second stall attending trade fairs and shows in the East Anglia area.
An opportunity arose for a brick and water site, and we took the plunge and opened up our flagship Maldon shop. Here you have the opportunity to try any of the 60 varieties of unique specialist coffees as a drink to sample before you buy your beans to take home. We also stock an impressive range of over 6 decaffeinated coffees all naturally decaffeinated using the Swiss water process.
But we're more than just a coffee shop. We're a gathering place for the community, a productive workspace for remote workers, and a cozy corner for those seeking a moment of peace with a perfect cup of coffee.

As well as a huge array of coffees we also stock a large selection of coffee equipment ranging from coffee grinders to AeroPresses all available to buy both online and in store. Enjoy an amazing take away coffee or sit in and use our super-fast free Wi-Fi for work or pleasure whilst you indulge in something sweet or savoury from our delicious selection of homemade pastries, cakes and toasties to go alongside Maldon's best coffee. Vegan or Gluten Free? Don’t worry; we cater for all dietary needs as we have alternative milk plus vegan and Gluten Free cakes. We are family and dog friendly.
Our Ethos is strongly based on offering a high-quality product at a reasonably priced rate with friendly service while being committed to caring for the environment using our new compostable takeaway coffee cups offering free coffee grounds to customers for their gardens.
